Owning vs Renting with a Blog

So here’s the thing about a blog, it’s a chance to own the profits and leverage from one of the very few things most of us own, our thoughts and ideas and experiences.

In most businesses you have to buy something, and then improve it or resell it the way it is by moving it, or making it available to someone who will pay more than you did.  The problem is the internet has disintermediated almost all industries to the point the everyone is buying at the lowest wholesale cost, so it’s hard to make money reselling.  Please consider this when you evaluate the cant miss ebay stores franchise.  Great flyer, neat presentations, FREE dinner but not a good busines for you..  it is good for them.  Wouldn’t you like to be the one selling an online opportunity? Back to the blog and blogging. remeber the Seinfeld episode where Kramer sells his life story?  He at first can’t beleive that someone will give him money for his “book” or life experiences…. then it slowly dawns on him he has given up all those stories and expeirences that made him Kramer.

And all it cost the other person was money –  money can’t grow by itself, a business can.  So take your small bit of money, buy into a business like a blog, and then grow it and it will produce money for you to spend on you and your loved ones health, happiness and lifestyle.  Or donate it to charity and worthy causes.  That’s what something like the  Empower Network blog platform can do for you.
